Ian Daymond BA LL.B

Non-Executive Chairman

A solicitor with more than 41 years experience as a mining and resources lawyer. Former General Counsel & Company Secretary of Delta Gold Ltd for 11 years and saw the company grow to be one of the largest gold producers in Australia. Extensive board experience as a director of International Base Metals Ltd with substantial copper interests in Namibia, former chairman of ElDore Mining Corporation Ltd (ASX: EDM), ActivEx Ltd (ASX: AIV), Copper Range Ltd (ASX:CRJ) and a former Non-Executive Director of Hill End Gold Ltd.

Dr. Bernard Olivier

Managing Director

Holds a PhD in Economic Geology from the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa and has worked as a geologist since 1998 across Tanzania, South Africa, Burundi, Swaziland, Argentina, Colombia, Australia and the Philippines. A Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (MAusIMM), he has worked on exploration, development projects and mining operations, across a spread of commodities including, gemstones, graphite, gold, diamonds, PGEs, base metals and coal. Over 10 years’ experience as a listed company director and served as CEO of Richland Resources Plc and as a director of Bezant Resources Plc.

Christiaan Jordaan

Non-Executive Director

CEO & Co-Founder of Regius Resources Group, an highly experience Mozambican-focused exploration company that holds ~7.0% of Mustang. Has served as a Director of Mustang Resources since February 2016. Holds extensive knowledge of the resources and energy sectors both in Africa, Australia and internationally. Member of AICD, holds Commercial Law Degree, former Director of financial services group in SA.

Cobus van Wyk

Executive Director & COO

Co-founder of the Regius Group of companies and Chief Operating Officer of Mustang since January 2018. Holds Bachelor of Marketing (Tshwane University ofTechnology) and MBA (University of Wales). Former senior executive at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange and Bankcorp South Africa. Qualified portfolio manager and stockbroker, with 23 years’ experience in financial services & 12 years experience in mining & exploration in Mozambique.

Dr. Evan Kirby

Non-Executive Director

Dr Kirby is a metallurgist with more than 40 years’ experience with extensive corporate and technical expertise. For 16 years, he worked in South Africa with Impala Platinum, Rand Mines and Rustenburg Platinum Mines. He also worked on the project that became the Glencore-Rhovan mine, currently one of the largest vanadium producing mines in the world. Dr Kirby was also employed by Minproc Engineers and Bechtel Corporation, where he had management and technical responsibilities. In 2002, Dr Kirby established his own Australian based consulting business, Metallurgical Management Services. Has held leading roles in numerous metals and minerals projects, including many world-class developments and has been a director of several ASX and AIM-listed mining companies.

Rob Marusco

CFO & Company Secretary

Mr. Marusco is a Certified Practicing Accountant in Australia, and has nearly 30 years of experience specialising in financial reporting, taxation law, corporate law and financial strategy. Furthermore, Mr. Marusco has experience in corporate management including company secretarial, governance and compliance dealing with the ASX, ASIC and other authorities for both ASX listed and private corporations. Accounting, financial and taxation services in the CFO role will be provided through Mr. Marusco’s consulting company MVP Accountants & Advisors Pty Ltd.
